#1 KDAT Treated Pine

Moisture has detrimental effects on pine, which is why Dix Titletown Lumber sources #1 Kiln Dried After Treatment (KDAT) pine to improve the wood’s performance and stability.

The KDAT process removes harmful excess moisture, making pine easier to handle, saw, paint and stain. It also enhances the holding power of nails and screws, and enhances pine’s ability to resist warping and twisting.
